Basics Junior Theatre School – Shining Stars

Basics Shining Stars is a group which has been developed to build upon the training already received, and to bridge the gap between those young people who show real potential to progress to Shooting Stars but who are perhaps not quite ready for the fast-paced training schedule. The training afforded to our Shining Stars ensures that they will receive a more individualised programme which aims to stretch them as performers and improve vocals, movement ability and stage craft in readiness for auditioning for Shooting Stars, and ultimately performing on stage.

Singing Dancing Acting

Our Shining Stars class provides intermediate-level training for children in Years 4 – 8, offering a higher level of training designed to strengthen technique, build confidence and encourage students to reach their full performance potential.

Wednesday 5:30pm – 7:30pm | Just £45 + VAT (£54) per month

Places are booked by the term and paid for in 4 monthly instalments. Your child’s place is reserved for the entire term.

How our payments work: We reserve your child’s place for an entire term. To make payments easier, fees are collected in 4 monthly instalments, rather than as a single termly payment.

Singing-focused lessons are a vital part of developing well-rounded musical theatre performers. These sessions are designed to specifically enhance vocal technique, range, control, and expression – skills essential for delivering powerful and emotionally resonant performances on stage. By focusing on the unique demands of musical theatre and other genres, these lessons support and complement our performers’ broader training.

Entry is by audition only and is the ideal progression from Basics Rising Stars. Auditions will be held periodically.

Those children who show a natural aptitude and talent (and who are wanting to commit to a more structured class) will be invited to audition for Basics Shooting Stars at the end of the calendar year, subject to availability of places.
